    First rate service and a brilliant local. Very close to the town centre and a two minute walk from the train station. Very affordable rooms and a lovely restaurant. I'll always call in here before trying any other hotels in the area

    Great little pub for a quality bite and a good drink. Loved the Scotch eggs. But, also ordered the cheddar and chorizo ciabatta. It needed some rocket or something green. It's too heavy without any fresh flavor cutting all the richness. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food as well.

    The staff were very kind and welcoming. They did not have the food I wanted so they gave me a discount straight away without asking. Very polite and great service. Delirious food

    Lovely old inn providing comfortable accomodation and good food and drink. English breakfast is superb. Building a bit tired in places otherwise would be 5 stars.
